The Glazes Sfumato Technique The approach of the glazes sfumato offers a variety of expressive means, always with the aim of feeding the “feeling”. With this creative process which is the sfumato glazes, we are able to render the mystery which is conducive to reverie and intuition. Technique du Glacis Sfumato La démarche du glacis sfumato offre une variété de moyens expressifs toujours dans le but de nourrir le ressenti disons le (feeling). Avec ce processus créateur qui est le glacis sfumato, on provoque le mystère qui est propice à la rêverie et à l'intuition. Valorisons la rêverie et éveillons notre imaginaire car nous devrons être prêts à tout mais pas à n'importe quoi. Le Glacis sfumato se définit comme un modèle vaporeux faisant imperceptiblement passer le coloris où les tons du clair à l'obscur. Le Glacis sfumato inclue la perspective atmosphérique, il est indiqué pour obtenir des tons très subtils destinés aux effets de profondeurs et de modelés. C'est un peu de lumière ou d'ombre obtenu par la superposition de plusieurs couches de couleurs qui se travaille soit gras sur gras, ou soit gras sur maigre, ou aux pastels ou à l'acrylique. Le terme de sfumato qui signifie "fumée" en Italien est associé à un effet de perspective et ainsi ce "flou" devient l'espace même de notre travail. Le défi que représente chaque œuvre est dans l'aptitude créatrice de l'artiste. En effet, après avoir travaillé cet espace flouté, il faudra faire surgir une image signifiante et imaginaire. Le travail consiste à travers le jeu des éléments plastiques (lignes, points, masses, valeurs, etc.. Faire sortir l'image ou les images. La pratique du glacis sfumato vise à cultiver cet état d'ambigüité et non seulement, à le supporter mais à en venir à l'affectionner. Exécution Choisissez votre harmonie colorée, voir 3 couleurs à 4 couleurs en réservant une couleur de valeur foncée. Le fond sera travaillé avec plusieurs couleur en gardant à l'esprit ce jeu de fondu afin de créer un flou, des espaces. L'imagination se nourrit de ces espaces colorés et ainsi fait surgir l'image ou les images. Une des couleurs viendra renforcer certaines lignes de cette image, afin de donner corps et matière à cet effet. Fond et formes seront travaillés en même temps en intégrant dans notre préparation un médium (glacis) afin de donner cette légèreté et ce fondu dans ces superpositions de teintes.
